HANG TEN
ORIGINS
Hang Ten Development Consulting was birthed from a love of learning, developing others…and Hawaii (you read that right!). Tiffany’s many travels to the islands grew her fascination for Hawaiian and surf culture.
There is an iconic technique in surfing called ‘hang ten’ in which the surfer walks to the tip of their board and hangs all ten toes off the edge - committed, aligned and fully present with the wave. In the art of surfing, it's the ultimate display of balance, mastery, and flow. Practice, preparation, and confidence are essential to achieve the feat.
At Hang Ten Consulting, we bring that same philosophy to our craft. Just as a surfer reads the waves, we read organizational needs – anticipating challenges, navigating change, and creating streamlined learning experiences.
Our goal is to help our clients reach their own “Hang Ten moment” – where learners are fully engaged and performance flows naturally.

For nearly a decade, Tiffany has harnessed her experience and education in adult learning theory and instructional design to craft, execute, measure and sustain a diverse portfolio of development projects. Coupled with a sharp eye for graphic design and a flair for branding, Tiffany doesn't just build training - she engineers immersive, memorable, and visually compelling experiences.
Specializing in leadership development, interpersonal skills, self-development and technical/process-based training, Tiffany brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Serving clients across multiple industries has fueled her ability to adapt to diverse audiences and organizational needs.
Despite Tiffany's commitment to her career, her best and greatest roles are 'wife' and 'mom'. Together with her husband, son and pups, she resides in the Midwest but her heart is always somewhere warmer! A family of adventurers, they dedicate time to traveling and spending time outdoors. Tiffany's passion for self-development extends to her personal hobbies and interests in fitness and wellness.
